Quaint museums

The Ehlers Collection
Northern Europe's biggest collection of pottery. Unique works by Thorvald Bindesbøll. Ceramics by P. Ipsen, Hjort, Kaj Nielsen and many more.

Museum Sønderjylland - Gram Clay Pit - Paleontology
Visit the museum in Gram and see the 10 million-year-old whale fossils, afterwards you can go fossil hunting in Lergraven as a fossil hunter.

Museum Sønderjylland - Archaeology Haderslev

Von Oberberg's House
Built in 1580 by architect Hercules von Oberberg, who also designed Hansborg Castle and the giant tower at Koldinghus, the house features a special attraction: the remains of very rare murals from around 1680.

The Danish bellmuseum
At the Danish Bell Museum in Sommersted, there are 800 types of bells in different sizes, all of which can be touched and played. The museum has its own foundry.

School museum of Southern Jutland
The school consists of a village school from 1856 and an extension from 1907.
In the schoolroom from 1907, the focus is on the reunification period from 1920 until 1945.

The old Firestation in Haderslev
In the Old Fire Station, you learn the story of the fire disaster in Haderslev in 1759.

Sillerup Mill
Windmill located approximately 8 km northeast of Haderslev. In 2009 it had existed for 150 years. It is one of the largest and best preserved wind turbines in Denmark.
