Set up your tent in the state forests
Throughout Denmark, there are selected forest areas where camping is allowed. The 'Free Camping' arrangement comes with a set of rules on how overnight stays should be conducted.
For example, it is not allowed to make fires outside of designated fireplaces. If there is no fireplace in the forest, you can use a camping stove. On Outdoorpersonalchef.com, you can find a description of a Trangia, as well as many helpful tips for a good outdoor camping experience.
Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a leash!
